On Thursday, students interested in anthropology, gerontology, interdisciplinary studies, sociology and social work will have a chance to scout out the professors for their classes and ask important questions.
The faculty of the sociology department and counselors will be present to answer any questions.
During an open house from 9 a.m. to noon in Room 303 of Chance Academic Center, students can meet with faculty and staff.
In addition, there will be admissions representatives from Our Lady of the Lake University, Texas A&M Kingsville System Center, San Antonio and the University of Texas at San Antonio.
The admissions representatives can help provide plans for continuing education and possible careers and jobs involving sociology, gerontology, anthropology, interdisciplinary studies and social work.
Students will have an opportunity to begin planning the future with available assistance.
Refreshments will be served and door prizes awarded.
