Editor:

I agree with Dr. (Carmen) Tafolla’s message for Hispanic Heritage Month. Her message was do not be afraid to go out and do what you want to do.

It was good to hear her come out and talk to us.

It is important to move on, so your life is not just stuck in one place, this is what happens if you do not try.

People should not be afraid to dream because your dreams are there to help you move forward. They are goals that are set there for you.

As long as you keep reaching, you will keep improving.

Her message also tells us to try because then we do not contribute to the world.

We all have value. One person can make a difference just by making someone smile.

Each person has their own experience that can teach someone else.

Dr. Carmen Tafolla says all cultures have value and “Remember to celebrate yourself.”
