Transfer Fair will be held November 3rd
Door prizes, such as T-shirts and cups, will be awarded Nov. 3 during the Transfer Fair.
From 9 a.m. to noon in the Fiesta Room of Loftin Student Center more than 30 universities will provide admissions, degree and financial aid information to interested students.
Students should start planning at the very least a year ahead of time before transferring, said transfer center Coordinator Rosa Maria Gonzalez.
They also need to know what colleges cater to their specialized interests rather then just picking a school they like.
Gonzalez says she wants “students to get on track to get whatever university and degree they want and reach their goal with a smooth transition.”
The fair offers a fantastic start to discovering how financial aid differs and help with filing as well as what majors universities and colleges offer.
“Don’t limit your view based on what you think school costs,” Gonzalez said. “More expensive schools have more financial aid than you might think.”
