Students must return rented textbooks today to Alamo Colleges bookstores

Deadline is today, but grace period extends until Wednesday, store manager says.

With the semester ending, deadlines begin today to return textbook rentals.

For students who rented textbooks at any of the Alamo Colleges bookstores, the deadline to return them is today.

However, the bookstores will not begin charging late fees until Wednesday, said Patrick Quilty, store manager for the Northwest Vista College bookstore.

The deadline at L & M bookstores is Dec. 19.

This college’s bookstore, located in the basement of Loftin Student Center, is open today from 7:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The St. Philip’s College bookstore, located in the campus center, is open today from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Palo Alto College bookstore, located in the student center, is open today from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

To contact the PAC bookstore, call 210-486-9572.

Northeast Lakeview College Bookstore, located in student services, is open today from 7:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Northwest Vista College Bookstore, located in the Cypress Campus Center, is open today from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Quilty said “there is a three-business-day grace period after the due date on rentals, so we will not be charging late fees until Wednesday.”

He said this goes for all other Alamo Colleges bookstores.

L & M Bookstore has two locations: 15503 Babcock Road and 1716 N. Main Ave. Students who rented a book from L & M Bookstore have until Dec. 19 to return it.
