San Antonio Business Journal schedules awards ceremony in Scobee.

Parking lots 20, 21, and 22 will be closed all day and evening Thursday.
These lots are located between San Pedro Avenue and the nursing and allied health complex on the south side of the campus.
Students can park in the garages or the other open parking lots, Deputy Chief Joe Pabon of campus police said.
The lots will be closed so parking will be available for an event 5:30-8 p.m. sponsored by the San Antonio Business Journal in Scobee Education Center.
The journal will host a ceremony for its 40 Under 40 Entrepreneurship Award.
The ceremony will recognize outstanding local business leaders who are under 40 years old.
“We wanted a different area rather than the typical hotel,” Arlinda Villescas, San Antonio Business Journal event manager, said.
“The Scobee Center is an interesting place, and I think our guests will like it,” she said.
The Scobee Center can accommodate 695 guests.
Spice of Life is catering cocktails and appetizers for the event.
The journal is not paying a rental fee to use the facility, but Scobee will be advertised on the journal’s website, Villescas said.
