Direct religious lectures to a specific location for safety

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

I recently came across an article while browsing The Ranger today, “Students take issue with religious demonstration,” published April 1, regarding religion on campus.

I wanted to throw a couple of suggestions your way to help give a more positive approach toward this sensitive subject.

Suggestions like: The next time a student organization wants to have a public lecture about their religion, a specific location for this activity should be assigned for everyone’s safety.

I also thought it would be a great idea to create an open community event discussion page for event planning and organization.

I think these two suggestions could go a long way for future rallies.
