Attending classes is key to getting out of college and advancing in a profitable career.
Therefore, do not waste time by not attending classes because there is a good reason teachers want students to go to their classes. Besides the obvious reason that they get paid for teaching, they would also like to advance their students’ education and see them attain a good job.
So, attend class because it will help in the long run.
However, if attending class is not an option, then drop the course.
But be careful when dropping classes because the new six-drop rule only allows a student to drop six courses in their whole college career. It would be awful for a student to get a string of F’s in their permanent record because they could not drop a course because they failed to try harder in their first few years of school.
The important factor a student should remember is to be smart. If a course is too difficult or personal matters block a student from doing their best in a course, then the best option is to drop the course, but only after they have tried their hardest to excel.
After all, students should have higher goals than to be working at McDonald’s for the rest of their lives.
