The office of student life will host the single elimination coed three-on-three volleyball tournament from 2-4 p.m. Nov. 20 in Gym 2 of Candler Physical Education Center.

Registration is free for all students who attend this college and possess a student ID. Sign-up sheets are available in Room 260 of Loftin Student Center.

Coed teams must include one female student. All equipment will be provided, and uniforms are not required.

The games will go to the standard 21 points depending on how many teams sign up. If more teams sign up than time permits, the points to win may decrease.

“I’ll know the day before sign-up ends if I have to cut points to allow all teams signed up to play,” said Maria Martinez, senior specialist.

So far, 12 teams have signed up, but there is room for more. Students may still sign up on a standby roster to be placed on a team.

The winning team will receive Spurs tickets.

“If you like a good game of volleyball and love the Spurs, this is the competition for you,” Martinez said.

For more information, call Martinez at 210-486-0125.
