In response to “Thousands of marchers, one vision: racial equality” published Jan 21:
It is inspiring to see people uniting for an important march as Martin Luther King’s walk for racial equality is.
It is important to unite especially when there have been many violent racial acts not only against African-Americans but other ethnicities as well.
It is hard to believe that even in this era we live in we still manage to encounter racial preferences in our everyday lives — judging people as a whole culture and not as individuals with a potential to be future leaders of this country.
