This college’s student life office and the health promotions and wellness team will host the LiveWell fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 17 in the Fiesta Room of Loftin Student Center.
Vendors from around San Antonio as well as student organizations will participate to educate the campus about preventing drug abuse, practicing safe sex and living a healthy lifestyle.
Mary Dayton, student success adviser, is the coordinator of the event.
“Come out and bring your friends,” she said. “We will have games and prizes to give away.”
Vendors include Planned Parenthood, Metro Health, Project Play, Mary Kay, San Antonio Council on Alcohol & Drug Abuse, San Antonio AIDS Foundation and CommuniCare Health Centers.
Participants from this college include the Gay Ally Lesbian Association, Human Services Club and Social Work Club.
“Come learn about the resources available in the community and at SAC for safe sex practices, substance abuse and healthy living,” Dayton said.
