President Harley Williams started the first Student Government Association meeting of the semester by addressing the purpose of SGA and opening the floor for Officer Reports.

One report was Big Give SA, which funds scholarships for this campus.

Williams then showed students how to find scholarship information on www.alamo.edu/sac under the Current Students tab on the front page.

Next on the agenda was a forum for students to meet a candidate for Vice President for Student Success. The forum is at noon Thursday in Room 120 of the visual arts center.

Other upcoming events are Pizza with the President at noon today in the Fiesta Room of Loftin Student Center, and the charity ball 8 p.m. Friday in the Koehler House.
