Students interested in sharing their hidden talents or performing a dance routine under the spotlights of the Fiesta Room in Loftin Student Center can try out for the annual “SAC’s Got Talent” show.
The office of student life is having auditions for the show 2-4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Fiesta Room.
“SAC has a lot of talented students, and we want them to share their talents with other students and the community,” Carrie Hernandez, senior student success specialist, said. “That is how we discover them, and sometimes this can help them for the future to showcase their talent while getting paid.”
The “SAC’s Got Talent” show will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 2 in the Fiesta Room.
Students can pick up an application in Room 260A of Loftin or sign up the day of the auditions.
Hernandez said they are looking for any students who have a fun, interesting or hidden talent.
“We usually always get singers, so we want to get some different talents this year,” Hernandez said. “One time someone brought their dog and did dog tricks, which was interesting.”
The audition judges will be the student leadership team from the Campus Activities Board.
The audition results will be posted the following day in the office of student life in Loftin.
Student life will provide microphones, a CD player and a sound system. All other technical requirements must be taken care of by the participant.
Participants must be students at this college. The performance must be no more than five minutes, and participants cannot wear clothing inappropriate for a general audience.
