The Palo Alto College Student Leadership Coalition is hosting a question-and-answer session with President Ruben Flores to discuss generic Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees at 2 p.m. Thursday in Room 119 of Guadalupe Hall.

The session is open to students and community members. Students can submit a question in advance before the session begins.

The coalition was formed in the spring of 2014 with the help of Communities Organized for Public Service to fight the e-book issue.

District officials proposed requiring e-books and standardized textbooks but later postponed the decision after facing opposition from students and faculty.

Palo Alto College is located at 1400 W. Villaret Blvd.
