Forum allows students direct access to college president

The Student Government Association is sponsoring Pizza with the President, an open forum for students to communicate with San Antonio College President Dr. Robert Vela and other administrators.
Harley Williams, Student Government Association president, said the event is a “great opportunity to meet your president.”
To further drive the value of the open forum, social work student Ryan Mixon shared his experience at an open forum last semester.
“I never saw security anywhere,” Mixon said about his concern with on-campus security.
Mixon said he has noticed a greater presence of security since the beginning of the new semester.
Pizza with the President is noon today in the Fiesta Room of the Loftin Student Center and is open to the public.
